Terms of service

Last updated 3 November 2026

1. Who we are

Slopchest is an expense service provided by XXXXX ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@slopchest.co.uk. These terms apply to the company that uses Slopchest ("you", "your company") and to everyone it adds.

2. What Slopchest does

Slopchest lets your people file business expenses by sending receipts to our Telegram bot or through the web. It reads the receipts with an AI model, numbers them, sends them through the approvals your company sets, and produces files for your accounting.

3. Your company's account

Your company's admins add people, decide who approves what and keep the list up to date. You're responsible for who you add, for keeping sign-in details safe and for what is filed under your account. Each person is one seat; seats are not shared between people.

4. Free trial

A new company gets a 14-day free trial with every feature, and no card is needed. When the trial ends nothing stops by itself: we tell your admins at least 3 days before Slopchest becomes read-only, so they can subscribe. Read-only means everything can still be seen and exported, but nothing new can be filed.

5. Price and payment

The price is USD 5 per active person per month, plus any tax that applies, as shown on our pricing page. Active people are those switched on under Organization; when people are added or switched off during a period, the difference is charged or credited by the day on the next bill. If a payment fails, Slopchest keeps working for 14 days and then becomes read-only until the payment goes through. We may change the price by telling your admins at least 30 days ahead; the new price applies from the first billing period after that.

6. Paddle is our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you subscribe, you buy from Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms, and Paddle charges the payment, adds the tax and sends the invoice.

7. Cancelling

Your admins can cancel at any time under Billing. You keep full use until the end of the period you've paid for; after that your company becomes read-only. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

8. Your data

What your company files stays yours. We use it only to run Slopchest for you, as our privacy policy describes. Your admins can export it at any time: Excel, PDF packs with the receipts, journal files and full backups. After a subscription ends we keep your company's data read-only until you ask us to delete it. We then delete it, with its receipt files and backups, within 30 days; the server's own short-term safety copies roll over within a further 30 days.

Data processing agreement. Where data protection law applies (the EU and UK GDPR, Singapore's PDPA, Türkiye's KVKK and similar), your company is the controller of its people's data and we are its processor. We process that data only on your company's instructions as set out in these terms and the product's functions; we keep it confidential; we use the sub-processors named in the privacy policy and tell admins before adding one; we take the security measures the privacy policy describes; we help your company answer its people's requests and any authority; we tell your admin without undue delay of a breach affecting your data; and we delete or return the data when the contract ends, as above. Your company can audit this by asking us in writing.

9. Receipts read by AI, and the numbers

Receipts are read by an AI model. It gets most receipts right, but not all, so the people filing and approving should check what's filed. Exchange rates come from public sources (central-bank rates where available) and are for reference; your accounting decides the rates it books. Slopchest does not give tax, legal or accounting advice.

10. Fair use

Don't use Slopchest for anything unlawful, to file anything that isn't a real expense of your company, to try to reach other companies' data, to overload the service, or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend a company that does, telling its admins first where we can.

11. Availability and support

We work to keep Slopchest running and back up every company's records automatically (daily unless its admins choose otherwise, and in full with the receipt files whenever an admin makes a backup), but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Write to contact@slopchest.co.uk for help. Our support team can open your company's data to help you or to fix a problem; each visit is noted in your company's History (one note covers up to 12 hours of a visit).

12. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or data lost beyond what our backups can restore, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to what your company paid for Slopchest in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we tell your admins at least 30 days before they apply. Using Slopchest after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where XXXXX is registered, and its courts decide any dispute, unless the law of your own country requires otherwise.
